Renewed WD 1TB Red My Passport Portable External Hard Drive - USB 3.0 - WDBYNN0010BRD-WESN Review

First off I have to admit that it took me a while to actually set this up, but that does indicate that some things are out of date and I can't upload data to it.

I needed to increase the storage capacity of my PS4 console. Now I can install more video games/apps without deleting anything! No problem setting it up. Just plug in the PS4's USB connector and you're done!

I love that these new SSD data drives are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, yet can store data that would have filled multiple hard drives 20 years ago. This freed up space on my other external hard drive, which was filling up. I recommend it to anyone who works with data files a lot.

My laptop and phone photos are now backed up securely without having to pay for additional cloud storage. I should have bought this much earlier and saved myself the fear of data loss.

Good product turned out. I use it for idle work on my movies, games etc. I haven't had any problems with this drive since I've had it. Win 7 recognizes it immediately without having to format it with gotdisk manager. This is already formatted ntsf file system. 931 gigabytes were detected, which is good. As for me, I am happy with this product and also that I paid around $52 for it which I think is not bad for the price I paid.
