Thoughtful Tank: Accessories

Combined with Patterson Ratchet Film Rolls, this tank is just amazing. Don't expect me to use my old Nikkor stainless tanks and spools.

Pros
  • Pack Width: 15.24"
Cons
  • Makes Me Angry

Best By Far for film processors

Bought the set 35 years ago, forgot about it at the InterlochenArts Academy on the day of its release (a lot happened that day) darkroom where they were used for years. Don't wait for a bunch of 120 soup!

Pros
  • Pack length: 31.75 inches
Cons
  • No insurance

Great for 3D development

I bought this because I foolishly tried to dry my previous (identical) tank with a hair dryer and ended up deforming the center post a bit but the funnel piece not work so to finish development in a day I was able to get same day prime delivery which was pretty cool and meant I didn't have to drive to B&H or Adorama This 5 roller tank is perfect if you make a lot of the same - like the Tri-X in Rodinal. Note that you should also get a Paterson (6-pack) #120 autoloading reel - you can never get…

Pros
  • Package Height: 13.72"
Cons
  • Contact Seller

Well designed tank for film processors

Paired with Patterson ratchet film spools this tank is just great. Don't expect me to use my old Nikkor stainless steel tanks and spools anymore.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

Best by far for camera and photo

Bought a set 35 years ago, left on graduation day at InterlochenArts Academy (many things happened that day) in a darkroom where they were used for years. I can't wait for the 120 soup!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Great for 3D development

I bought this because I foolishly tried to dry my previous (identical) tank with a blow dryer and deformed the B-pillar a bit in the process. The drums will go on, but the banging will not. To complete development within a day, I was able to get that same-day Prime delivery, which was pretty cool and meant I didn't have to drive to B&H or Adorama. This 5-reel tank is perfect if you're doing the same thing - like Tri-X in Rodinal. Note that you should also purchase the Paterson Auto Loading Reel

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Obsolete
