Description of ๐Ÿ  Pawfly Nano Bio Sponge Filter: Quiet Betta, Fry, Shrimp & Small Fish Foam Filter - Ideal for Tiny 10 Gallon Aquariums

Fine Sponge Filtration: It provides mechanical and biological filtration and traps debris or waste without sucking up your fish, keeping a crystal clear water tank. Mini Size: It measures 2" D x 4.8" H. Fit for 5 - 10 gallon small tank. Suitable for the breeding and feeding of various ornamental fish, shrimp or fry. Easy to Clean: The filter can be easily detached for cleaning the dirt. Rinse it every 2 -4 weeks with aquarium water ONLY. Avoid washing it in tap water!. Quiet Aeration: Air powered and causing no disturbance to your daily life. Press the sponge into the tank to fully absorb tank water to make it sink to the bottom. Great pump for fish and aquatic animals

With a strong enough air pump, this is a great filter. Just remember to pour it slowly into the mug before removing it from the tank.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • A few small things

Fits perfectly in a 10 to 20 gallon tank

Needed vapor for my small tanks and they are the perfect size. The hose attaches perfectly and the weights are more than adequate. 5 stars and every aquarium should have a sponge filter.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • unreliable

Fits Filter Accessory

I like these filters because they have double action. They provide oxygen and filtration. You can see dirt and even food being attracted to the sponge. I usually turn it off when feeding other fish to eat. Sucked feed is easily ingested by the fish, so this is not a problem.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Nothing

Great little filter

I love these filters for my aquariums. I have the larger one for my 55 gallon tank and this one for my 5 gallon tank. He cleared the tank of whatever fogged it up in less than 3 hours. They are so easy to clean and very durable. Solomon loves it too. Sometimes he plays bubbles!

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • I have nothing wrong with it, everything is fine

Mainly suitable for fish and aquatic animals

These are small sponge filters that work well. They are well weighted and stay almost where you place them. They were tightly packed in a box and the sponges were squeezed. They appear to change shape after use. I would like the tube to be a bit larger and more apt for adding an airstone, but that's just a preference for me. They're fine and should work fine on smaller tanks.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Small, unobtrusive and it works!

I use this sponge filter in a planted aquarium (no fish yet) and it keeps the water crystal clear without much fuss. The sponge is soft and thin, absorbed water immediately (I squeezed the air out underwater) and didn't surface at all. Below it is weighted. It's all black, looks good, and is also small enough to hide behind a big rock. Great for a 10 gallon tank with no fish - I don't know how it will look with fish. Cheap enough to try!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negative impression

Great for nano aquariums for clearing debris and aerating the water

I like using aerator filter sponges because they are easy to use and easy to clean. This is the second bowl I own and so far I am very happy with the quality. It has weight on the bottom so it stays pretty much where you put it, and it keeps uneaten food on the sponge while creating water surface movement from the surface. bubble. The tip I use to get the sponge out without picking up all the stuff on the sponge that spills over when you take it out of the tank is to take a plastic cup, gentlyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Good but not great
