16GB 2 slots x 8GB RAM DDR3

I bought 2 sets of 16GB each. R.A.M. It works in Dell Vostro model. But will fail on the Dell Inspiron model. Not sure why. On the Inspiron model. I change 2 banks. boot up. There is no Dell logo screen. Without bios. Just a blank screen. No memory check beep.

Pros
  • Suitable for many people
Cons
  • Weight

Junk Plagiarism on Computer Components

This will teach me how to work with someone else's brand. This "16G" kit showed up as 12G in my BIOS (my BIOS was flashed and updated and the specs confirm it supports up to 16G). It caused BSOD 50 percent of the time and when it worked, performance was worse than my previous 8g Kingston HyperX. Eventually this caused Windows to stop loading and I had to reinstall Windows and restore the old memory. Complete garbage.

Pros
  • The Best in Its Niche
Cons
  • Some Errors

A-Tech delivers fast! 5 Stars!

A-Tech had the right memory kit for a Windows Vista upgrade-to-7 Desktop Cube that was in desperate need of an upgrade. It was hard to find this 16GB memory kit for this 2008 PC and I was glad when AMZ had a few suppliers that stocked it. First run - was much faster than the 4GB kit and works great. If there are changes I will come back and make corrections. Yes, I will buy from A-Tech again.

Pros
  • Handsome
Cons
  • Style 90

Took a risk based on the reviews. A+

I've been involved with computers since the early 80's and have always used product names like Kingston, Crucial and other popular names. When I needed memory this time I started reading reviews and saw great reviews on A-Tech. I bought it and when it arrived I installed it in my PC. I'm impressed and wouldn't hesitate to contact anyone asking about good memory for your machine.

Pros
  • Large Selection
Cons
  • So So

Successful upgrade from 3GB to 16GB RAM.

I decided to compare the nominal clock speed (1333MHz) and make sure that my PC uses a 3rd generation (3DDR) memory type. It also confirmed that my Windows 10 OS was 64-bit (not 32-bit) so it could address all 16GB of memory. These are important points for beginners trying to improve their memory. After unlocking and removing the two old cards (1GB and 2GB), the new cards fit perfectly. My computer is much, much faster.

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are shortcomings
