They are beautiful with a smooth wax finish and a top rim. However, because they look like dripping wax, they don't fit perfectly in a regular sized tealight holder. I balanced the candle and it looks fine. The flickering is perfect and I love that it has a timer that turns on and off when I expect it. I am very happy with them.

I bought one of these and liked it so much I bought two more. Excellent battery operated tea lights. They have a timer so it's 6 hours of 18 days off. They appear on their own in the evening and turn off on their own. I like that they do. It's a beautiful view in the evening and I don't have to do anything. I have replaced all my candlesticks with these.
