I have found the bags get dirty very easily, I have been storing chopped peppers in a bag and now they turn yellow and red no matter how deep the soak. also picks up rust from pots if you're not careful. The lids aren't as stretchy as I would hope, but they work great.

Conservation bags are sealed and easy to use. However, they are not easy to clean. I kept the salsa in one of the pouches and the silicone is now a reddish tint - I've tried soaking and hand washing. The lids are really helpful and I haven't used the beeswax wrap but so far it's working well.

The only part of this purchase that I found useful was the reusable zippers. They are durable and a great alternative to disposable plastic ziplock bags. The blue lids don't fit or hold anything in place, except maybe something that fits snugly on top of the lid. It won't stay if you try to stretch it into something bigger or smaller. I haven't found anything I have that is exactly the same size as these blue toppers.

I was very pleased to receive them but then I was very disappointed with their performance. The bags must be cleaned immediately and must not be used for raw meat and the like. I had several damaged bags when I got back from work. One had watermelon, another had pizza and the third had raw chicken. In less than 5 hours a black mold grew that would not come out. That was a big surprise. I had no idea about these beeswax things until I bought this kit that goes with them. Pretty cool. Just warm it in your hand and it will soften, then place it on whatever you need to cover and hold your hand over it for half a minute and it will just stay put. Let's see how well it holds tight in the fridge. I bought more blue stretch caps. Never tried them either. If you need more than one of each size. so i bought more. Some are useless to me. The beeswax is awesome! I've used it to coat sandwiches and fruit. Love it! Kids are fine, it can be difficult to place bowls or glasses that aren't the exact size (they burst instantly). I have used bags to store fruit after washing and they have worked great. until I washed them in the top shelf dishwasher. Many of my bags now have holes in the corners and are leaking ☹ I tried to compensate by placing them upside down (with holes at the top) in the fruit drawer, but the juice ended up…
