Type of review

Top design is always good. This is a very light strap that I will use for smaller items (not a large DSLR). The only reason I removed the star is because it came with "V3" anchors which are thinner and weaker than the old V2 or newer V4 anchors. The Peak Design website says that out of 100,000 sold, only 7 failed. However, they are willing to replace them with V4 anchors for free and hassle-free. You simply fill out our online questionnaire and you will not be asked to return the V3 Anchors…

The best shoulder strap for a camera? Quite possible!

This is one of those situations where positive reviews and general rave reviews about a product that seems expensive are warranted. The leash camera strap is the easiest to put on and take off, the easiest to adjust and is exactly what I've been looking for in a camera neck strap. Most important to me was the easy yet secure attachment and detachment. I don't like neck straps with regular plastic snaps, it seems like you're practically begging to lose your gear with this type of mechanism. The…

Still trying to "love " it

Admittedly, with all the great reviews, I expected something different. The strap is a bit flimsy as it goes around the neck unless you have a light camera. With my Lumix G9 you can feel pressure and weight in the neck, especially due to the lack of padding. What are aluminum buckle flip flops? You have to be careful when putting the camera in your pocket so you don't hurt yourself etc. A really stupid feature in my opinion. 3rd prize. For real? 40€ for a strap? Pros: 1. It's lightweight and…

It's all about anchors!

The perfect size for my camera. When using the Fujifilm X-T3, this leash from Peak Design is very comfortable and easy to adjust if needed. The camera can be carried very securely thanks to the carrying strap. Whether you wear your camera around your neck, over your shoulder, or on your shoulder, this leash makes carrying your camera safe and comfortable. I've seen negative reviews about Anker but I really like them. I love that I can leave them attached to the camera and easily remove and…

My favorite feature was removed from the original leash

I loved the first version of the Peak Design Leash but they removed my favorite feature: the ability to quickly switch between a single point and two point harness switch . This is because the adjustment buckle used to have a hole where you could attach another clip and you could take one end of the strap, unclip the clip from the base of the camera and attach it to the other strap. This feature was just amazing. because it made Leash the perfect companion for Peak Design Capture's own clips…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Love my Peak Design Leash! High-quality materials combined with easy-to-use anchors. The leather buckle straps are a nice touch, facilitating quick one-handed adjustments without the harsh buckle protrusions some brands use. The length is perfect for carrying the camera over the shoulder and the lack of a neck pad means the strap slides almost smoothly down the neck from storage to shooting. The use of seat belt webbing also adds to this functionality and also gives the belt unmatched strength.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • So far so good

Great product and design, love the overall look and how easy it is to install and connect to the camera(s), I have also ordered a second one as a gift. I really like the idea of the disc clips as it's such an easy way to snap things off and on and how you can order extra disc clips to use with other photo gear which I did to keep everything on its own disc to have. Clamp and all I do is switch leashes from one product to another and use what I have. (I will probably order a second one again, I…

Perfect for smartphones with Moment lenses

I just bought three Moment lenses for my iPhone and wanted a strong strap so I could easily carry my phone and hang it by my side. I had previously purchased a different strap and didn't really like the idea of my phone dangling from the side with the lens because the strap attachment didn't feel as strong on the phone and the strap was quite short. However, THIS tape worked brilliantly! I used it every day during a 3 week trip to England with and without the Moment lens attached and it was…

Works well and doesn't hurt the neck.

I've been seeing Peak Design stuff for a while now. Wasn't sure if it would work. After just using the wrist strap and ditching the neck strap, I needed something new. The wrist strap was great but I could never get the camera off. The belt has been my wish for a long time. I just couldn't bring myself to choose one. What works best. Which actually worked best. I had to watch a few videos to figure out which one suits me and settled on this one. Especially considering that the updated anchorage
