Very useful addition to Capture Clip

This Pro Pad is a very good Capture Clip accessory that I would like to include in my Capture Clip system kit. I use it with the Capture Clip and the Peak Design Everyday Carry Backpack and it really helps distribute the weight more evenly across the waistbelt and shoulder straps. I used it mostly on my hip belt and it stays there even when stowed. It's small enough that I can still keep it attached with the Capture Clip and Pro Pad when the waist belt is folded behind me. It bulges the…

A great alternative to an uncomfortable collar.

This rating goes for both the eyelet and the v.3 grip clamp because honestly they are made out of heaven. I bought both for a week long trip to Rome where I wanted to take a 5D MK3 with a 50mm lens. I already have a Peak 30L backpack and wrist strap and love both the functional design and aesthetics of their products. These two are no different. I wore both on my belt all day because I was there every day and I was touring 10+ hours every day. It was very nice to have the camera handy on the…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Almost never

First of all I would like to say that I am a big fan of Peak Design! I switched to their grip system from another brand last year and have been very pleased overall. As for that stand, I have to say that while it's probably better than strapping the camera on (which I don't), it's still not very comfortable (or stable) for a full-size DSLR, especially a pro one. is. mirror plane. The Think Tank does a lot more with a thicker liner that works with Peak Design Capture and is more useful for…

Makes Capture Clip even better.

Why did Revain ask me to rate this on warmth, comfort and thickness? Hm. You know what, let's have some fun with it. This is a beautiful, warm, dark gray fabric. It's very comfortable in the hand, not like it should be there because it should be on your belt or your backpack strap or whatever, but when I'm belting through to get my mirror cam ready. God this is comfortable. Whatever they put in the back to stiffen it has the perfect thickness to give it rigidity. Okay, that was fun, but the…
