This article is light but surprisingly warm. I'm comfortable with a coat or two underneath in 20 or 30 degrees. In theory this is a cycling jacket, but I've never used it as such. It looks like a normal jacket - besides, it doesn't have open "back pockets" like normal cycling jackets. It has two zipped pockets on the sides of the jacket and another zipped pocket on the left chest. It's a bit large for me - I'm 6'2" and about 190 lbs - 35" waist - about 44" chest.
