Disappointingly the best in outdoor wear

I wanted to love them because they look so good. But, unfortunately, getting rid of them is very difficult. So much so that I feel they shouldn't be worn and I will continue to wear my old cheaper gloves. These old, cheap gloves have little loops on the middle and ring fingers that make them easy to remove. Pearl Izumi has been in the business for a long time and to be honest I'm a little overwhelmed that they haven't discovered this finger loop removal technology yet. It's a shame.

Basic Outerwear Gloves

I bought them for the price. Excellent price. I WANTED gloves to keep my hands from circulating blood. 11 minutes of my trip, same problem. I would say they are BASIC, great gloves, strong stitching, great color, fantastic sun protection. I will be buying another pair from another company that has BIG palm padding. I would give the Palm Pad a CD rating for being as basic as it gets. I got what I paid for so it's ok. I have to spend more money, I found that out.

Good glove so far! for gloves, mittens and balaclavas

I bought these for the 2019 Tour de Troit. I have read good reviews about these gloves. I decided to get flashy yellow just for show. Now the trick is to go to the Pearl iZumi website and measure your hand to determine your size. This is how I did it and had no issues with the fit. Actually I bought a big one. I'm almost big in the manual department. When I received them I tried them on and I feel good. Overall quality seems good. So far I have no complaints and have only given 4 stars because…

Also ideal for truck drivers!

I think they are primarily for bikes? However, if you are looking for comfortable and breathable handguards to use when riding a motorcycle in warm weather, then they are very nice. I don't have a motorbike yet but instead I use them while driving a tractor trailer 11 hours a day to relieve the discomfort from the constant vibration and ups and downs. The gel on the underside in contact with the wheel covers me completely and they serve me well. Also, they look pretty bad. Damn good buy

Decent comfort, terrible durability

Bought these gloves as they were highly rated for comfort and seemed good value for money. Comfort is good, although not as good as my previous pair of Specialized BG gloves. The issue with these gloves seems to be the durability of the thumb material, the first pair of fabric tore in this area on the first ride. Thinking that I was unlucky, I returned. But no, it's the same. First drive on the fabrics (see photo), the problem is not in the seams, but in the quality of the fabric (something…

Didn't like the pads

I had some very old Pearl Izumi gloves that needed replacing, they were just worn out. These Select gloves were similar to the ones I've had before, but they didn't have full palm coverage like my old ones. Filler sections don't work for me. The edges of the padding don't seem to line up with my knuckles, making it painful to touch the handlebars. And the middle part of my palm isn't padded, so it gets tired quickly when I'm holding the steering wheel. Otherwise they were nice but just didn't…

Made to measure for gloves, mittens and liners

I used to love these but there is something wrong with this pair. I've liked this glove for a long time. Earlier this year I had a bad accident and the gloves were destroyed, but the gloves tore in a way that didn't tear my hands when I slipped over the cement. The gloves saved my hands that day. Before that they had pads in the right places which really helped get rid of numbness while riding. I was wearing XL gloves that I bought from REI. Bought a pair to replace ones lost in an accident…

  • Delivery was very quick

  • Protection

Pearl Izumi once again proves quality.

I have been a Pearl Izumi customer for decades. So of course I took their gloves into consideration when buying new ones. I've had several pairs of PIs in the past. My hands in particular went numb as my old, worn gloves lost their padding (old gloves are not made by Pearl Izumi). So I did a lot of research and read product reviews and decided to revisit the Pearl Izumi line. I chose the gloves for their padding to quell numbness in my hands and fingers during long rides. Pearl Izumi knows that
