🌟 Shimmering Pearl White Metallic Cardstock Review

Durable mother-of-pearl cardboard for handicrafts is hard to find. Decided to try this company. It cuts beautifully on both my cameo and my cricut maker. I just wish the sheets were a little cheaper. I had to spend two sheets to get the desired depth of cut. For the cameo, I used the glossy cardboard setting. On the Maker they have a setting for 105lb cards which I used with the 'higher' pressure selected.

I used this to add some sparkle to a pair of lighted shadow boxes I made for Christmas gifts. It added a nice touch. I like that the color is on both sides of the box. It's quite durable and I plan to buy other colors. The light didn't come through well, but I wasn't expecting that since it's darker. I've had some issues with it tearing/wearing a bit on some very small, intricate cuts, but not so much that I threw away a piece. Since it was for deer antlers it really worked for my project.

Bought to make cards with my silhouette cameo. I usually use Shimmer/Pearlescent Brand Recollections or Core'dinations from Michaels, JoAnn Fabrics, Hobby Shops. But I'm tired of going through them, finding the undamaged ones, counting the right amount and then hoping they don't get damaged on the way home. Very nice metallic sheen of this paper on both sides and the inside of the paper is the same colour. Just make sure you think about how you plan to use it. I use it with my Cameo Silhouette 105lb electric cutter. Cardboard setup and it works fine. But now that I've learned how to use it, I most likely won't buy it again because it only adds volume to multi-tier cards. Also, it takes longer to cut because it is very thick.
