Description of 🖌️ Latex-Free Pebeo Drawing Gum Marker 4mm – Your Precise Tool for Artistic Mastery

CREATE WATERPROOF SURFACES: Pébéo drawing gum is a laminating drawing gum for working with ink, watercolour, gouache etc. Use this liquid gum on the parts of your work that you want to keep blank. HIGH PRECISION MARKER: Apply your masking fluid gum easily with this handy drawing marker. The 4mm nib allows thick and regular strokes to be made as well as uniform flatness. QUALITY MARKER: The plastic wick of your Pébéo drawing gum marker does not break, resists repeated primers and does not fray, allowing you to make a precise drawing. Once your colours are dry, simply laminate the drawing gum with your finger or an eraser to uncover hidden areas that have not absorbed your paint or drawing ink. QUICK DRYING MASKING RUBBER: Once your liquid gum is dry, you can colour your work. The spare rubber for watercolour, ink or Pébéo gouache dries in just a few minutes. A MULTI-PURPOSE PRODUCT: This marker for liquid masking gum is delivered in a shell to protect it in case of transport and to facilitate its storage. Explore the many possibilities of this 4 mm marker before painting with watercolours, gouache, Indian ink and much more.

Fun and easy to use

I saw this masking pen in a watercolor class and just couldn't help but try it. I've used Concealer Fluid in the past and this stick is much easier to apply and control, especially in small areas. It also becomes thin so it's also easy to remove. I use an eraser. Comes with an extra tip. It says to use within 6 months. It is recommended to store it in a horizontal position so that it does not dry out.

Pros
  • FAST DRY MASKING GUM: Once your liquid gum has dried you can color your work. Pébéo's replacement gum for watercolor, ink or gouache dries in just a few minutes.
Cons
  • So far so good

Works pretty well.

I watch a lot of watercolor tutorials on YouTube and an artist uses them all the time so I bought them. I thought it would be a lot easier than using regular masking fluid on some paintings. Well, it's not as easy to use as I thought, but I think you should master it. It's not as thick as a regular Pebeo frisket, but it does the job with no trouble putting it on. Don't use this on cheap watercolor paper as it will be difficult to remove. Either way, it's worth it for the few projects I've used…

Pros
  • HIGH PRECISION MARKER. Easily apply liquid chewing gum with this handy drawing marker. The 4mm tip allows for thick and even strokes, as well as consistent flatness.
Cons
  • Not sure

Ideal for small details

Update 3 months: The grip is still very watery and the tip is not dry. There is no need to use the included extra tip just yet. I'll admit I've only used it a handful of times, but it's been very reliable with every use and has performed as expected every time. I don't have to fiddle with it or fight it to make it work again, it just works. I recommend using something like an eraser as this can be tiring and rough on your fingers if you've made a lot of masking spots to mask the finer details…

Pros
  • QUALITY MARKER: The plastic wick of your Pébéo rubber marker won't break, withstand repeated applications of primer or wear out, so you can draw accurately. Once the ink is dry, simply laminate the gum with your finger or eraser to reveal any hidden areas that the ink or ink hasn't absorbed.
Cons
  • String is shorter than other picks
