Didn't work for me

To be honest I don't think it worked for me because my hammer toe problem was so severe. I also have a drop foot and some nerve damage. I put this on and think it would be pretty comfortable. I was wearing comfortable low-heeled boots and after a few minutes they became so uncomfortable that I had to take them off. I don't even know where it is. I have purchased 3-4 different hammer toe products and none of them have been acceptable. So if you have advanced hammer toe, this may not work forโ€ฆ

It works so well it can be magical

It's the only thing that kept my mom from hurting her crooked toe. She broke it many years ago and later it started to hurt her and even the doctor told her that nothing would be done to fix it. This little toe straightener fixes that. Yes, it hurts (literally) to put it on because you have to stretch your finger a bit to get it in there, but it makes the dull, throbbing ache go away for a week, sometimes two . Then just use it again for a few days and it's like magic. Just be aware it will beโ€ฆ

Nice try to solve a tricky toe problem.

I have some trouble holding onto them when I put my shoes on and sometimes they even come off. I have to say I agree with people who said the foam on the bottom isn't very cushioning. I've been able to use them successfully with shoes that have a large toe box, so that's a plus. I've had sock socks that separate 2 or 3 toes and reach the ball of the foot. The foam padding is very thin but I feel they work better than this one. I have no regrets trying this product and I can wear it with certain

Uncomfortable for toe separators

After bursitis surgery, my three middle toes were badly "hammered" and the top knuckles of all three fingers came off. I decided to try this toe straightener before attempting another surgery. The rubber was difficult to assemble. It was quite difficult for me to put it on all three fingers and when I did, the rubber band dug into the skin between the third and fourth fingers and it was painful to wear. I played around with the setup for a week and finally gave up. I would not recommend it.

Cheaper than doctor's co-payment

At first I thought yeah this isn't going to work. I guess I was wrong. I'll definitely have to put socks on right away to keep it in place, but I wear it to work all day. At night I use duct tape to pull my toes down more aggressively. I had to adjust but he adjusts the tension and maintains it once adjusted. Helped a lot in two weeks. Yes, it wears out as it gets a lot of use, but what the heck? Even if I have to buy another one, it's still cheaper than going to the podiatrist (additionalโ€ฆ

It didn't work for me

First I had to separate the first 2 fingers but the third finger was also needed. I bought the 3 finger version although my doctor recommended the 2 finger version which I also bought and it worked great. This three finger divider was very uncomfortable and I couldn't hold it for very long. The elastic from the third toe cut into my leg in the gap between the toes. I couldn't bring myself not to do this. Because it's adjustable, I could take off the third sheepskin coat and I'd probably beโ€ฆ

Good product but not perfect for me

Unfortunately I need one that includes my baby finger but was hoping it would work. I've found that toe straightening isn't as easy as it might seem. I enjoy putting it on and tugging at the elastic until it stretches my three middle fingers, but eventually (especially at night) it hurts. I suppose that's to be expected, just like straightening teeth is painful when braces are tight. If I just kept doing it, I could get results. It would be nice not to wear insoles to avoid hammer toe pain, but
