Effective Product, Misleading Packaging

While the design of this product is extremely effective, the material and gel packaging clearly won't last. Also, the packaging is very deceptive and it looks like there are 2 protective films in each pack. It also says "palm and thumb protection" but it's only one. There are 2 different images on the front of the package. I called the company to ask if there should be 2 in each package. They said they would call me back, which they never did. I am satisfied with the product and cannot find a…

EXACTLY what I needed

I have an arthritic spur on my CMC joint. So whenever I put my hand on my laptop keyboard, keyboard, or my desk, it hurts — not to mention when I happen to nudge something with my hand. It really seems to help. The 1/3 glove is made of stretch material but not as thick as neoprene. It's not tight or sweaty. The gel pad is adequate, but it's not bulky. It's thin and light. and it can be worn under a tight bandage. If you are looking for a bandage or something that restricts movement, this is not

Excellent for its intended purpose.

This is not a support or rail. It is not intended to prevent joint movement. If you have thumb pain at the CMC joint, talk to a therapist about a custom Colditz splint; This is the best way to protect the CMC joint without impeding movement in another joint. This product is a slightly viscous gel that stretches across the first metacarpal from the CMC joint to the MP joint.
