Exactly what I need in a kayak!

I wanted to take my camera with me when I went out in the kayak but didn't want to risk getting it wet. This is exactly what I needed! My Rebel camera plus two lenses fit in easily, with some extra space for batteries and other small accessories.

Pros
  • Easy open dual latches
Cons
  • Can't remember

Ideal for transporting repair equipment

If you are a professional you need something like this for transporting repair equipment. Pelican is expensive but made with high quality. I received these to send my gear to Nikon for repair and back. This size fits a 70-200mm lens diagonally. Some items need to be wrapped in bubble wrap instead of foam.

Pros
  • Waterproof, shockproof and dustproof
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Very good.: Camera bags

First impression. impressive build quality. I can say that a lot of attention and attention to detail was given to the development of this case. Also included here are very useful instructions for caring for and cleaning your pelican. 100% satisfied. I use this to store ammo instead of ammo. The best ratio of price and quality. I have no doubt this is for life.

Pros
  • Automatic pressure relief valve
Cons
  • Almost never

Use outside the wall. Love it!

First, my work is very difficult. And I needed something out of the ordinary for solo storage. So I turned to Pelican for this. I've been using the 1300 as a lunch box for about 3 years now. Yes, you read that right, lunch box. I had and broke all the lunch box options. And while my colleagues have bags of groceries, I'm sure to carry my lunch with me. My only complaint is that it doesn't stay cool for long, but an ice pack easily solves that problem. The 1300 is big enough for your typical (10

Perfect for transporting my firearm in checked baggage

I purchased this case solely to use as a TSA approved carry case to carry up to two concealed carry pistols when traveling by plane. It fits all my needs perfectly as follows: 1) It's hard walled 2) It has TWO locking points 3) It fits 2 medium semi-automatic pistols or one pistol, extra magazines and a few cases of protective ammo. . 4) It has a strong handle that allows me to lock the entire case and its contents in my luggage [I've heard people have taken things stolen from their luggage…

Fits Nikon D750 with accessories

It does the job of keeping my gear dry when rafting/camping. Only four stars because the quirks (above the foam) make it sore back and not suitable for everyday driving/travel use if you want to get to the camera without problems. Pros: As shown in the picture, it fits: Nikon D750 with tripod plate (no tripod strap) Nikon AF-S 24mm f1.8G on camera with lens hood reversed and lens cap Promaster remote (cable lies under camera) 2 knockout shown in photo 72mm filter (if any) under remote control 2

Sturdy but difficult to attach

This 1300 Pelican is very strong and well built. It comes with thick padding that greatly reduces interior space but protects everything inside from bumps, falls and moisture. I found that I only needed thin bottom and top pads to store my camera. With the lid closed, it is very safe. The only thing I don't like are the clasps. They are very difficult to open/close. A person with weak hands may not be able to seal and open the clasp. Hopefully it will get easier to snap into place over time. I…

If you accidentally bump into your gear

Seriously I wouldn't advise bumping into these things even though they're strong enough to survive. I bought this little bag to organize and protect my stuff. Unfortunately it didn't work for what I wanted (my fault for not reading the specs carefully enough) but I eventually found a use for it with other gear. Before this incident I only had SKB cases. They feel lighter (perhaps the density of the foam is lower), and the fasteners are much harder to open and close, which can be both a plus and
