Foam may not be worth it

Excellent case. It has been added to my already large collection of pelican crates. So the US is the first time I've bought with foam and I'll never do it again. The foam is too soft for a laptop sleeve, I used it for a trip to the Arctic Ocean in Alaska. Upon arrival, the foam had already collapsed enough that there was no electronics encapsulation inside. On the way back, the electronics jostled due to collapsed foam inside the case, and I resorted to socks to make up the difference. The…

Great case, great humidor

All Pelican, Errday. But seriously, Pelican makes the best products and this is no different. I use this case as a low-maintenance, explosion-proof humidor. I love cigars, but I'm just not interested in working on the perfect smoke. Instead of the typical cedar box, which doesn't work that well, my setup looks like this: 1x Pelican 15002x Spanish Cedar Cigar Tray compatible with Display 5 or Display 7 cigar humidor models from Quality Importers4x Boveda 62% 60g pouches (with 4 extra per cycle…

A high-quality Pelican case, of course!

With suitcases you get what you pay for - and this suitcase is worth it! Sturdy construction, clasps close very tightly; I would trust it to protect my gear in the event of a fall and protect it from the rain. I use it to store my 76mm Borg refractor which is the perfect width for perforated foam with all accessories after removing the focuser. There's also room for clips, a long and short tube for 2" and 1.25" eyepieces, and one of those little Televue red dot finders. your equipment. I would…

. Preferably. Period. - Dry boxes

I mean this is Pelican - it gets 5 stars. And I'm not saying that because I'm biased, I'm saying that because I've used Pelican cases for both work and pleasure for many years and have never been disappointed. This case did not disappoint. As with all Pelican hulls, the construction is rock solid; the case closes tightly and is claimed to be waterproof (although I haven't personally tested it). The Pluck-N-Pull foam is great too. I used it to set up this case for a remote ham radio I have. With

Great suitcase for safely transporting something fragile or needed.

Very happy with this purchase. I recommend lining the foam with a marker (many YouTube videos show the best way to do this) and then CAREFULLY cutting it with a long knife - I used a 12" serrated bread knife. I had to put the foam back in the holes to raise the room so I wasn't blocking the up and down movement so I cut the newly removed foam in half with a knife and that was a hassle with all the little pieces, they wanted off - take your time and be careful. The videos recommend spraying the…

Great sturdy bag perfect for placing your camera!

I bought this bag to hold a Nikon River Rafting Camera. There is virtually no other way to protect your raft gear than with this case, and it's the only way I would ever trust so much gear in one box. Here's what I was able to fit in this case with the appropriate padding: (See image uploaded by my client) - Nikon D7100 lens with 35mm 1.8 lens with lens hood - Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 lens with Lens hood - Tamron 70 lens - 200mm 2.8 with lens hood - Nikon SB-910 Speedlight - Remote flash…
