Description of Penn Plax Cascade Aquarium Filter Aquaria

Cascade hang-on aquarium power filter for 10 gallon aquaria. Cascade power filters feature a four-step filtration system to keep your aquarium fresh and beautiful. The polyfiber floss cartridge traps floating particulate matter while the activated carbon cartridge removes harmful toxins, odors, discoloration and contaminants. The internal sponge optimizes colonization of beneficial aerobic bacteria and the external Bio-Falls provide a wet/dry biological booster for additional ammonia and nitrite removal. Not Effective: Disappointing Aquarium Filter

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can confidently say that this filter is not worth the investment. It barely filters any debris and the flow is weak. It was a complete waste of my money. The only pro is that the design is decent but that doesn't make up for its poor performance. I wouldn`t recommend this product to anyone in need of high-quality pet supplies..

Pros
  • Efficiently filters aquarium water for a clean and healthy environment.
Cons
  • Requires regular maintenance and cleaning to prevent clogging and maintain functionality.

Actually this filter is not bad, the problem is that

in fact this filter is not bad, the problem is that if there is a power failure, the filter will be empty and the motor will not be able to suck back water if it is not pumped by pouring water first, which can cause irreversible damage lead on the impeller

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • there are problems
