Pentel Color Brush Black GFLBP101 Review

This pen works just like a brush if used properly. It dries up and you squeeze it to add more ink. This is a beautiful brush pen. However, nothing for those who like consistent lines.

I am very disappointed with this. It can wear out instantly, like a dirty old brush. I'm not sure if it's fake. I bought one from blick, same brand but it looks a bit different and the tip is actually round and smooth with no frayed separating bristles. Unfortunately I opened it too late to send it back. Do not, under any circumstances, recommend this seller or this product to anyone.

t seem last week. The ink (which I used sparingly and preferred to draw very thin lines) began to fade early. The physical properties of the pen are actually very good and I did a great job, but the ink life sucks. Maybe the tank wasn't originally filled at the source, but the price didn't impress him.

The color is pretty good, solid black, but unfortunately the ink doesn't reach the tip of the brush like other brush pens. I have to keep stopping to squeeze the bottle, put the cap on, and then "drain" it onto the tip of the brush. This doesn't bode well if you're trying to create lettering. I don't know if I got the double tier pen because I read great reviews but I'm not very happy and wouldn't recommend this pen to most.

I love love love love this brush. The quality of the lines that can be achieved with this brush is AMAZING. The ink is beautifully black. Controlling the amount of ink by squeezing the body is easy enough to get the hang of. Pentel Aquash water brushes have the same amazing stroke quality as this one. Amazing products. If you use copic markers this is a great brush as with alcohol ink the ink doesn't run or smear. This is my new favorite drawing pen. :)

I like this pen. What I wasn't expecting (but it doesn't bother me in the end) is that the pen's body is made of soft plastic that can be squeezed. I assume you can pour ink into part of the brush. A pre-installed capped brush is a must for any ink artist on the go. It never leaked to me, not even on the plane. It's not technically refillable, although I refill mine by occasionally opening it up and pouring ink inside.
