This pen is very good. But the ink is not black. It's closer to a washed out blue. This pen is great for student or training runs. Not for the thesis.

Never used a brush pen. It is so much fun! It was the best price I found and I was very happy with it. The flow is excellent and the brush has good response.

Superb brush. The ink stays moist and never dries out. I've been using it extensively (in all my work) for 2 months now and it's still as pigmented as the first time. It's hard to get used to using the brush at first, but I think it's a great choice for a beginner (FYI I'm a beginner).

Excellent brush pen. It was a bit difficult to understand how it works as all the instructions are in Japanese, but that's to be expected for a Japanese product. It takes some time for the ink to hit the brush, but once it does the brush works great. I would suggest using this on paper with good absorbency otherwise you run the risk of accidentally smearing your text.
