💁 e.l.f, Perfect Finish HD Powder, Portable Compact for Fine Lines & Imperfections, Soft, Smooth Finish, Anytime Wear, 0.28 Oz Review

This is absolutely one of my new favorite makeup products. I wear it over powder, bronzer and blush to set my look all day. It fills my pores and gives me a great matte finish that lasts for hours. Why didn't I know about this before?

I've been testing this powder in different ways for the past few days and I've looked like a ghost every time. it's not here I was also so disappointed because I only read good reviews about this powder but I think most of those reviews are from people with pale skin. I tried really hard to make this powder work for me, but I always looked forward to taking my makeup off because it made me look so white.

OMG I can't say enough about the eleven HD powders. I use this and loose powder - so good to have them on my subscription and save! I swear it's the only thing that hides my pores. I've tried all the expensive powder lines from Laura Mercier, Clinique, Bare Minerals, MAC and so on. Does this amazing stuff cost around $5? I still think Elf is losing money on their products. giggle

Okay first? Doesn't it come with a drawstring? yes no delay I bought and use round flat cotton makeup pads. Secondly? A little goes a long way if you don't want to look like a ghost! It's a white powder, not as clear as you'd like, so it'll brighten up your foundation. Not good if you're sunburned. Not clear enough for my taste. On the other hand, it's soft, smooth and gives a good matte finish, only lighter. Don't have a puff applicator? Doesn't this apply to me for a future purchase. But now?

Even before Covid I was working from home where I rarely painted. Within an hour of washing my face and taking care of my skin, my face started to get greasy and I had to use blotting paper constantly. I have tried so many cleansers, toners, water purifiers, hot cold cleansers, moisturizers, serums and so on. The thing that works best but still makes me a bit greasy are the ELF gloss controls. ELF has rarely let me down, but mostly it was just talk. The composition, like other pressed powders, is smooth, but not transparent. It's mostly white. This looks bad. I have medium/olive skin. They will look ashen, which is actually my experience with most translucent powders. I bought it a very long time ago but only used it twice. Don't buy this. It's not expensive, but it really isn't on par with the rest of their products. Just find your color. Their other pressed powders are good.
