Great faucet, best for brewing

In my opinion and experience, Perlick is the gold standard in beverage dispensing equipment. The front seal doesn't get sticky or sticky like cheaper faucets. It works great, fits standard dispenser plugs and has standard handles. I'm gradually replacing my cheap faucets with these as needed. I just wish I had them to start with.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Volume

Works fine even if not used for days

My main complaint about the Ferroday style beer faucet that replaced this Perlick faucet was that it froze in place, if not used often. In fact, the Ferroday faucet was so stuck that pulling the handle bent the stem. The beer dried up in the Ferroday tap making it almost impossible. The Perlick faucet works the first time, every time. Even after a week of downtime. Smooth, easy and controlled operation with no leakage at shutdown.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Good mostly but...

Has worked flawlessly since purchase.

Bought to replace the sticky faucet that came with my kegorator. I wanted to see how this one works before buying another one. I use my taps several times a week, sometimes they're off when I go on vacation. The original faucets kept sticking, I cleaned them, then they kept sticking. I've had this faucet for about two months now and it has never jammed. It works every time like the first time. I will buy another one for the other side of my tower.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Outlet leaks even after adjusting

My experience is very similar to the two reviews below me: I got these as a replacement for other faucets, at first they worked great, now I can't stop the faucet from to leak. I've tried numerous cleanings, adjustments and internal parts replacements and it doesn't matter. I tried to contact Perlick and the sellers but none of them answered me. Do yourself a favor - spend a little more money and either buy a different Perlick faucet or a different brand. I kick myself for not spending theโ€ฆ

Pros

Bought, liked it so much I bought a second one the following week.

I've been using the standard fittings on my twin tower for two years. Man, the sticky faucet was a pain in the ass, so I finally pulled the trigger on the Perlick faucet. Replaced one of my original faucets as soon as it arrived and it worked like clockwork. What I like is that I don't drink during my busy work week and when I go on Fridays to pour myself a pint of home made beer it flows so easily it feels like the pint was just poured in. Literally buying another Perick faucet next weekโ€ฆ

That just a few months later

Bought two of these in March to replace my main faucets that came with my tower as they were quite sticky. At first I was very impressed! This was amazing as they never got stuck. However, now the front seal will no longer do exactly that. Seal. This resulted in a lot of wasted alcohol as what was usually only a drop or two remaining in the spout after pouring became a very, very slow drip from each of my two taps. and yes, I mean slowly. two drops per minute. and I only drink at home once aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • is leaking is understandable even for the old
Cons
  • Update Availability
