Perrin Mini Antenna 2013 FR S Review

Looks great, much more durable than stock antenna and less likely to break in the car wash. Reception has not been verified; I don't use radio.

Check my YouTube for installing Axjt Alex. Installation took 10 seconds. Really nicely done. I don't hear any difference in radio reception. I would give it 5 stars if there was a carbon option because it's a race car.

Very easy install, looks fantastic on my 2014 Forester XT and I get the same radios as the original; But there is definitely a little more noise at the weaker stations and I can't get as far to the stations mentioned as to the garage. Not that I expect radios 40 feet underground, but it's quite empirical that it doesn't have the same reception strength as the longer standard version.

This is the first mod I've ever made for my 2013 Subaru BRZ and it instantly improves the aesthetics of the platform. The car no longer looks like a large RC car. It's as simple as unscrewing the standard antenna and screwing it in. Takes less than a minute. As others have said the signal for the radio will obviously be a bit weaker (as the antenna is much shorter than the factory one) but I use Bluetooth to play music so I never had a radio so that was easy. mod for me.

Made with high quality! Fits perfectly on my 2011 Lexus IS250C and does not affect radio reception. This mini antenna is described as 2013 BRX/FR-S and the bodywork for these vehicles is manufactured by Toyota (Subaru engine). I have seen reports of this antenna being used on a Scion tC also made by Toyota. I took a chance as Lexus is made by Toyota and of course I made the right decision! I love this mini antenna. Brought this for my ranger. My standard antenna kept banging on the garage door. I was afraid the bracket would break. I saw this and was a little wary of the reception but so far I'm very happy with everything. I'm not looking for far away stations so this meets my expectations.
