I used the measurements in the description and not the size chart in the photo because the description said they are new updated sizes. Well it was wrong because I received a large size with the measurements in the photo in the size chart so it doesn't fit. I'm changing to XL, I hope it fits. The quality seems to be quite good.

I usually wear a small/size 2, but I bought a medium size because people said I should go up a size. Wednesday was much bigger than I expected. The description says 30 inches but when I measured the waist it was closer to 32 inches. The skirt itself is very cute and comfy so I returned the medium size and bought a small instead, but the small was still too big (and there was no XS option). EDIT: Just checked the description again and found the part that indicates you have to cut the holes yourself. this is strange and I don't understand why it should be like this. I read conflicting reviews before buying but really liked the style and was looking for a simple denim skirt for a long time. Based on the information in the actual description (I included it at the bottom of this post), I chose size L. I usually wear US 10-12. The skirt I received is very small. I'm so pissed that I actually took the time to take a picture and write this review. Waist 26-27 which would be size XS on their list. In addition, the right and left sides are not the same length. I'm
