Description of Pertronix 804412 Flame Thrower Cylinder Spark

Two current paths for reliability and redundancy -Primary path: Spiral wound stainless steel alloy -Secondary path: Carbon impregnated fiberglass center core. Low 500 ohm per foot resistance. 8mm Silicone jacket to resist high temperatures, moisture, oil and chemicals. EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Methylene) inner insulation for superior heat resistance and prevention of arcing and voltage leaks. Fiberglass reinforcing braid for added strength and flexibility.

Improved Engine Performance with this Ignition Upgrade

According to my experience this ignition upgrade has made a noticeable difference in the performance of my automotive engine. The installation was straightforward and the added power is undeniable. .

Stronger spark: replacement parts

I did a complete Pertronix ignition replacement on a 1977 MGB. I'm happy with everything except the coil wire. The coil wire is very short and it is normal for the coil to point down. I bought an oil filled coil and the coil wire is not long enough to mount the coil as suggested by the supplier. I've looked everywhere and just couldn't find a longer Pertronix coil wire.
