Cat loves it

I have a mousetrap cat in my coop but I think the cat is getting lethargic because she loves her heating pad so much. He used to be skinny, but now he's getting fatter and sitting on his pillow all the time.

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

CAT LOVES IT - Cat Houses & Condos

I bought this for a feral cat who adopted me and when it got colder I felt sorry for her. Build her a cat house with a styrofoam cooler and put this heater and some straw inside. It took her a few days to use it, but since it was cold she almost never goes out. It was a brutally cold winter and that probably saved her life. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Pretty Impressive
Cons
  • Negative Gift

to keep two wild cats alive in the winter cabin in Michigan we bought for them. Withstands 40 degrees Fahrenheit with no problem. We bought used sleeping bags to cover the roof and dash through the door. SUCCESS. Highly recommended. Waterproof. Cats lie on top without giving up in 18 inches of snow

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other pickaxes

Good product for scratching posts and apartments

This is the ideal product for keeping animals outdoors. We have a semi-feral cat that does not enter the house. We had a very cold winter and I was afraid that she would freeze to death. I made a wild box and put it in the box. She stayed warm and comfortable. I put my hand in the box after she came out to eat, it was nice and warm. Very good product, and very affordable.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Dangerous! Do not buy this product!

I used this heating pad for a stray cat that settled in my garage. I would turn it on at night and turn it off in the morning. So one morning I noticed a strange smell in my garage. It smelled like something was on fire. The cat was behaving strangely - he avoided his sleeping place. I found his heating pad was very hot, much hotter than it should be, and the plastic was melting into this shapeless shape. Apparently there was some kind of short circuit inside the device. I immediately turned it

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Wow! Works great

Purchased to help an old stray cat stay warm in cold weather. We have a trough of fresh hay that we have to cover and keep warm, but the hidden old thing won't go in. Bought this and put it outside the bathing shed so he can at least sit on it while eating and it seems to suit him. The size is perfect and it doesn't get too hot. We just put it in a box with the lid open and put a thin layer of fresh hay on top. Works great and keeps laundry dry. If you have pets (even a dog), provide them or a…

Keeps warm but I doubt comfort

Pros: - Warm to the touch - Consumes only 25 watts - Compact enough to fit even in a small cat house - Reinforced cord gives security, the cat won't chew through it Cons: - no lining. Overall: I use this for our street cat. It's quite small, which is good because it doesn't take up all the space in the cat's house (she can lie on it or on a soft surface). I guess I was expecting some kind of gasket to be included (there isn't one) and the plastic is pretty tough. I wonder how practical that…

I really like this heating pad because my wild cat loves it too!

I would highly recommend any K&H heating pad. Make sure you have the correct pillow size for the pillow you need. Perfect for the outdoor shelter we just bought for our beloved wildcat. Pete lives on our open porch at night year round. He entered the shelter the first night we took it out and went straight to the heating pad. We connected it to a very long and rigid extension cord. When he gets too hot, Pete sticks his head out the side door into the cold Michigan night, or kicks his body aside

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some difficulties
