We don't have a lot of floor space but I wanted a place where our cat would feel safe and off the floor away from the kids. It attached to the closet door very easily with no permanent installation which was a plus. Also, it's quite easy for us to remove it when a company arrives. It took our cat a few days to explore but now it's his favorite spot.

I read the reviews and bought a big one. The big one took up the entire door I put it on and I had to dig behind it to get to the knob. 2 out of 3 cats went there to play from time to time. My youngest climbed it to get to the top of the cupboard that was by the door. I put the toys down, give them treats and sprinkle some catnip on them and wave the toys around to keep them interested.
