We placed this above the AC window at the same level as the citrus tree. He loves observing all outdoor activities from a secluded spot. OK. weird quirk: he doesn't like the soft insert! He's working on it until he can get it. Then he takes it away! If you put it back, he gets it back!

I've never had a problem sucking on this thing. I've had it attached to my sliding glass door since September 2019 and took it off about a month ago. It was actually quite difficult to get out the door, it took two people to make it! The only problem is that my cat wasn't interested at all. This is my third K&H window bed and I couldn't be happier. The first two were open bed style. I gave them to my mom's cats after I got this. One was over 6 years old and still holding on! The suction cups work very well, I just followed the instructions before installing. Sometimes the suction cup loosens over time, but others hold so tight that I'm not worried about it falling off.
