Bought for a medium sized guinea pig. She likes it, she especially likes to chew. It's strong enough, but not too sharp or harsh that it won't pierce her if she chews it to pieces. It's big enough to hang around in. It's about 10 inches long, so larger animals probably won't fit in comfortably.

My tortoise likes to run around in the hay shelter. We had to cut a gap at the bottom for her to get through. It's a good size for a dwarf rabbit, but it's quite a large turtle and grows very quickly, so it's a bit small for them. I wish they were even bigger. All in all a good product, I would have preferred just one size larger.
