Good quality needs better fitting

Quality bulbs that are very bright, much brighter than the incandescent bulbs they replaced. The mounting options did not fit, which is why they shot down the star. I used commercial outdoor double sided tape to stick them to the trailer tongue just like the ones on the trailer were originally installed. The lenses are loose, but I'm not worried about them falling off.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Long delivery time

They can work well where you can put a nut on your back.

I purchased this light to replace my standard amber running lights on my boat trailer with LED lights. Not sure if they will work as the head of the screw needs to go into the lens cap. The original ad didn't say anything about them, they might work well where you can put the nut on the back but not on the trailer tube itself. Be careful when purchasing these lights OR prepare to pre-drill new holes and put in new mounting bolts ! I made that mistake, and neither should others.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Minor issues

Bright, cheap, easy to install

These guys are bright, easy to install and cheap! I used the Reese Towpower 86006 LED Trailer Light Kit (link below) and two of these to get my trailer running legally again. I actually had my first car crash about 30 minutes after I finished installing it. What annoyed me the most was not that my car was damaged, but that the light I had just installed was destroyed. So having worked with three of these suckers I would recommend them. Reese Light Kit: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0016KFY0Oโ€ฆ

Nice stylish lantern suitable for lighting and lighting accessories

A very nice upgrade for our WaveRunner trailer. We just bought used skis and the trailer is a ruin. I'm upgrading all the lighting and wiring and they look amazing. I don't know WHAT people think who think they aren't bright enough! You're forced to work at night when it's DARK and you don't want to blind other drivers, just let them know you have a trailer, which they do VERY well. I also like that I don't have to spend extra money on crappy chimes and glue reflectors on the sides. I bought 3โ€ฆ

Far superior to the OEM reflector on my commercial trailer.

Update: 10/21/2021 - Still works fine on my utility trailer which has been stored outside all along. (Installed 2013) Initial Review: Passive (non-illuminated) side reflectors fell out of my utility trailer while taped in place (OEM saves a penny). They mount with 1/4-20 rear fasteners and are a definite improvement over the OEM part. It's easy to intercept the trailer's running lights circuit, they draw milliamps of current so there's no problem overloading the circuit on the tractor.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for senior

Bright, easy to install

I used two of these to replace the factory marker lights on my 4x10 foot cargo trailer. I couldn't be happier. Peterson headlights are bright yet 100% reliable. Installation is also easy. I mainly use my trailer to transport my quad bike during hunting season. I've just driven this trailer up and down muddy, rocky and generally rutted roads for a full season and these lights are still intact. These are the same roads that other parking lights busted in just one trip. These Peterson Markerโ€ฆ

Looks like a good replacement for the original without LED.

To answer some of your questions I have attached some photos. You show exactly what you get. Yellow lens with 2 LEDs, black plastic base and hex bolt with nut and washer. The black wire is power and the white wire is ground. Grounding can be done with a hex bolt or with a separate attachment point on the frame. The internal electrical parts are completely covered in what appears to be clear epoxy. This should make it suitable for boat trailers if your power plug doesn't short to ground. Itโ€ฆ

Small trailer side marker light in very good condition

I have just purchased a pair of these lights as part of a complete trailer light upgrade for my 5ft x 8ft Carry On utility trailer. They fitted an existing single mounting hole that was slightly larger than stock lights and easily connected to the wiring harness with splice connectors not provided. These branch connectors are quite difficult to find, especially for people who are not electrically savvy and are unaware of their existence. In my opinion, the manufacturer should include one ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Empty

The mount on these mounts consisted of two holes running vertically down the middle. My old flashlights had holes on the sides so they didn't fit my application. They provide a large center mounting stud that is used as a ground. I installed them on the tongue of my boat trailer which doesn't allow me access to the inside of the frame to use the center bolt. This light and bolt would be more useful on a surface where you have access to the back of the mounting surface, e.g. B. on a fender of aโ€ฆ
