I recently got a deaf dog and found it a great way to get his attention (vibrate) or find him (beep). They do a pretty good job, although she doesn't like vibrations, so we rarely use them. One of the devices stopped working after about a week, the lights come on when you plug it in or turn it on, but it's unresponsive.

Our puppy has grown into an angry teenager and will attack from time to time to protect the bone or if she gets jealous she will attack another dog etc. This one Collar works perfectly and immediately draws her attention. She hates it and that's why it works, just a flick of the remote control and she immediately stops her unwanted behavior. I definitely recommend this product to anyone with pet issues.

The remote control itself has a long battery life. We have 3 puppies that weigh between 13 and 24 pounds so all 3 collars are perfect for their neck size. Conveniently, only 1 remote control is needed for every 3 puppies. Battery life is ok. We only need to charge every few days (at night to be ready for the next day).
