A near-perfect bag in the Backpacks, Bags & Accessories category

A great all-round daypack with a subtle approach. I broke it @Red Rock in over a week and my only complaint is the shoulder straps. Sometimes they dug in from the weight of the backpack/rope, but that can happen with any bag. Was able to walk around with full attitude, water, rope, layers + lunch :) External hardpoints are also a plus for shoes/helmet etc. Didn't feel bulky when climbing.

Pros
  • Backpack Backpacks
Cons
  • Can Hurt

Convenience and comfort

This is my new backpack for all mountain tours. Super light and comfortable, and with the larger waistbelt it's very easy to access the gear loops on my harness. Also use it on mountain bike tours. The mesh pocket on the inside is great for a cell phone, and the front zippered pocket makes it easy to access things larger than most pockets. Perfect everyday bag, I would give 10 stars if I could.

Pros
  • Backpacks for hiking
Cons
  • Almost never

Good sized backpack with some water repellency (but not waterproof)

PRO: Good sized backpack. A laptop or tablet fits in the inner pocket. It's not waterproof but repels light rain. The hip belt can be hidden when not needed. I'm sure it could work well as an outdoor sport climbing backpack with a rope attached to the top strap. SMALL PROBLEM: It would have been nice to have an outside pocket for a water bottle instead of attaching it to a shoulder strap in a backpack. middle of the pocket.

Pros
  • Backpacks, Bags & Accessories
Cons
  • So far so good
