Petzl Macchu Climbing Harness ONESIZE Review

My daughter is 9 years old, tall and thin. She still sometimes wears a size 6 in pants, so this harness was almost too big in the waist - she had to tie it all the way. Well, that's good - she will use this harness for several years! It looks well made and comfortable, my daughter said she loves the way it feels. The first day she wore this pendant, it actually performed a lot better than the one she rented.

Contrary to the picture, this tag is actually blue. Once you've placed an order, your transactions will show it that way, but the product message will just show up in orange and doesn't mention it's anything else or that you have the option to choose a color. That's the only reason I deducted a star. Luckily my stepson loves blue too so it wasn't a big deal but I don't want anyone ordering this thinking they'll get the color pictured. It has already been used and he says it is very handy.

I hate this 2 star rating but buyers should beware. Firstly, a product of excellent quality in terms of design, quality and reputation. The problem is that the dimensions are unreliable. I ordered 3 PETZL products, they are all the right size but they are all too small. For example, my child is 50 inches and 55 pounds. The items I ordered said they could hold over 40kg / 80lbs and yet they barely fit. At maximum expansion, my young child was confined within. I would make a season out of it…
