good quality in stock

I used 3 of 6205 and a 6203 (also ordered as PNG) to replace old bearings in my drill press. I removed the gaskets from each of them prior to installation to ensure they were adequately lubricated and all had a decent amount of lube (white lithium grease maybe?). Very smooth, quiet bearings with no visible runout, but you'll have to turn on the dial indicator to check.

Pros
  • bearing
Cons
  • obsolete model

Looks good on Power Transmission Products

Good. They appear to be well made. These were wrong for my application (my ignorance). I bought them for a GE washer, but the washer required a one inch inner diameter. They were 0.4mm too small. Apparently most of them seem to be measured in millimeters. Hence my confusion. I posted this to let some people know about the size difference between metric and SAE. 55mm is 0.984 inches. (or 0.4mm less)

Pros
  • Deep Groove Ball Bearing
Cons
  • Not sure

Looks decent but the bore is wrong

I ordered these to replace a bearing that had burned out on my logging trailer. The bearings appeared to be of decent quality, but unfortunately the bearing bore did not match the axle. Also, the outer bore appeared to be slightly misaligned as the bearing was not seated snugly in the wheel, but this could be corrected if the inner bore was correct. The seller sent the bearings back and hopes the next set I order will be a better fit.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Small Parts
