Fine gold threads are black on the inside

Immediately out of the box, the gold threads revealed the core black threads beneath their thin sheath. If the core was yellow or even white it wouldn't be so bad but the black color is obvious and looks broken when new, even worse when the cable is in use.

it can be worked with, but there are some problems - Bright color

Nice colour, very light unfortunately if using a liner that wraps around the cord the dark inner cord will show through and ruin the final look. This happens easily so I had to work hard to twist and hide the broken cord or touch it up with paint.

Glam Meets Farmhouse

I wanted to try this rope on a vase I made out of cardboard and tape. It worked just right. The gold was a "light" gold that perfectly matched the gold I had painted on the background bases. There are 4 different shades of gold on display in my living room so it was important that they match where I placed them. I am happy with the rope design. Not too thin and not too thick. It's black inside. After discovering this, I found a way to not have it appear in my project.
