Phanteks D140 Distribution Plate with 💡 Mirror Acrylic Backplate and Digital-RGB LED Lights Review

I liked that this distro platter was versatile and helped me organize my tough runs. The lighting is perfect (not too strong) and the ability to use a lot of ports helped plan the build. My only observation is that the CPU ports don't line up with many of the CPU block ports, causing crooked starts or forcing you to make crazy bends. I used Bitspower offset fittings to perfectly match the Phanteks Glacier. These fittings have a maximum offset of 5mm.

I ordered this due to limited space in the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M. After it was announced I couldn't wait to buy it as I thought the idea was brilliant. In hindsight, there are a few things to keep in mind.1. entry and exit. It has dual feed and fill inlets. If you like me and you have a happy top you really need to think about how you are going to fill it because that way you have limited space. I wanted an inverse assembly without the $300 price tag for the remaining inverse ATX on the market. Went with the BeQuiet 801. EK and Byski make shallow tanks that fit in the drive bay, but limit you to a front-mounted heatsink. In this case, this distributor plate is ideal for an inverse assembly with two heat sinks. Can't recommend enough. Phanteks always brings quality. You'll recognize it as soon as you unpack it.

Adding this spreader plate will really make your system stand out from the crowd. The distributor plate on the back is quite unique and I only know of two that you can buy, this one and another that Phanteks makes. Some bends around the processor can be particularly tricky. Take your time and maybe buy extra tubes in case you screw up.

If you're looking for a distro that doesn't take up much space in your build and has room for a 140mm fan on the back of your case, this is for you. Installed in Phanteks Enthoo Elite, like all other distros, it mounts to the right of the motherboard, leaving me no room for my 4 SSDs, a D5 pump, and an AMD tank. They all come with a single DDC pump that just doesn't work. Does not fit the VRM cooler. CPU block and 2 2080Ti blocks.
