Phanteks Glacier PH C360A_01 Digital RGB Lighting Review

I usually buy EKWB but decided to try this block. I'm glad I did well and have comparable pace. The only thing I don't like is that the LEDs on it aren't bright enough.

Smooth installation and great looks! Especially RGB. The only thing is that there are cooling issues with the Ryzen 7 3800X, but I'll probably just lower the voltage since I'm running it in a small case.

Nice processor water cooler! Works great with my 3rd generation. Ryzen! I like that the RGB isn't too bright to make the acrylic block stand out.

Really well made block, aquarium quality acrylic and very transparent. The finish on a cold plate is like a perfect mirror. The RGB looks terrible, the thermals are good and the flow is very high. A quick online comparison places this in the top three and in the middle of the heat pack.

This device is simple and I think it looks good. The only reason I didn't give it three stars is because it didn't state it was a 3-pin connector for your mobile device. Mine only has 4 pins for the LED headers and so I can't use it without buying an adapter so I couldn't take full advantage of the RGB option.

If you are not familiar with chip design, this option is suitable for Ryzen chips because they flow evenly through the chip and not from the center to the outside. Intel has processors in the middle overall. Ryzen has chiplets that are slightly off-center, and there are either two or three of them. You can google the image to see it. This is ideal water cooling, but you should be aware that LED lighting is weak. It just doesn't have enough brightness to compete with other local lighting. You can see it as blue in the photos above, and it's not a reflected color, so it looks like this regardless of the ambient light. Installation is a bit tricky.
