Terrible quality of bulb sockets

Arrived in a bag full of dirt/trash. All parts were worn and covered in a cloudy residue that I couldn't wash off. Some of the work looked unfinished. I ordered a replacement set, the second pack was exactly the same.

Bought for Socket

Bought to replace the socket on a single lamp. I chose them as they were the most similar to the existing lamp (so I had a good chance the lampshade would fit) and they had screw terminals for wires instead of push-in terminals (like an old lamp socket that broke). The only installation difficulties were a) connecting the right wire to the right terminal (solved with an internet search and a multimeter) and b) putting everything together without bending the wires. Not Rock Solid Fixture

Media failed to load. A few things I don't like about this mount: β€’ The wires are held in place with spring clips. I put the wire in the spring clamp and it didn't clamp well so I used a very small screwdriver to press on the clamp to pry the wire out. After I pulled the wire out the clip was gone so I had to throw the tool away. β€’ I connected and installed the following device and noticed that it did not stay on when I turned it on. From the video you can see that the passport switch is tight.
