Fulfills a need but is VERY large! Extension cords for the "horseshoe" lamp cord (lampshade holder) are included. Still, they barely fit in my three-way flashlight. The brightness seems a little better than the old bulb it replaced. In general I am satisfied with the purchase.

I took the bulb out of the box and it was MUCH larger than I expected. After checking it turned out that it would not fit my lamp in any way. I was disappointed. Then when I went to put the bulb away I found two pieces of plastic in a small bag inside the box with no instructions or indication of what they were anywhere on the packaging.
