Wrong product received and short lifespan

There was one but it quickly blew out. Reordered and only received one WHITE BULB. in the factory lightbox. I will not buy it again nor recommend it.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Hard to say

Premium brand, lousy product

Retrieved by Revain on March 9th. Works with a timer for 4 hours a day. Dead bulb until April 23rd. Lifespan less than 200 hours. That's the life I should be getting from a no-name $0.75 lightbulb, not a $7.50 brand! Happen.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Clarity

50 watt just right

I've been using these for years and the 50 watt version is no longer available and I need to look it up online. Manufacturers now seem to favor 75 watts, but that's getting too hot. I think my plants do better with bulbs. I also like the shape of the director's lightbulb.

Pros
  • Sturdy
Cons
  • Doubtful

Beware of garbage lamp buyers.

If I could not give these bulbs a star I would have received them 4 days sooner. I was so excited I put them in a plant lamp, a beautiful and bright cake lit up as I walked down the stairs and a bulb blew out, hmmm. Thought it was cooling off, came back 20 minutes later, both were out, waited about an hour hoping to see a change, nothing the next day, still nothing, junk lightbulbs, I've spent money, I can't even got a refund because I pushed the boxes of lightbulbs aside to beware of the big…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Functionality

Simple houseplants respond well. Beautiful natural light shade.

I have these timer lights for my most important houseplants that don't need a lot of light. They responded well to light. The light warms up a little, so more water is needed. I probably wouldn't recommend them for plants that need a lot of light (unless placed directly above), but I would recommend them for extra light or light for less needy plants. Although the bulbs have a blue cast. , they glow with the warm/natural color of daylight (4800K I think).

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Beware of garbage lamp buyers.

If I could give these lamps a single star I would have received them 4 days sooner. I was so excited to put them in a plant lamp, lit a beautiful and bright cake at the bottom, and a lightbulb was burned out. Hmm, I thought it might be cool. Came back after 20 minutes day still nothing, garbage bulbs, I spent money, I can't even get a refund because I dumped the boxes of light bulbs in a big dumpster. Buyer ATTENTION!

Pros
  • Change price

Not for use with metal bulbs

I thought a 50 watt grow light would be perfect for my Tulsi plants. Life expectancy is based on lamp usage of 3 hours per day according to the small print on the packaging. If you also read the disclaimer on the packaging, it is recommended not to use this bulb as a metal lamp. The neck of the onion is much shorter than expected. If I used it with any lamp it would hit the rim and break off from the rim's contact with the bulb. If they sold the same bulb with a much longer neck, that would be…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Tried several, this is the best!

I use it in my porcelain orchid cabinet. I got this plant for Valentine's Day three years ago and thanks to this lamp it's still great. I love the color of this light highlighting the green leaves. Comment on a reviewer who said this light caused his seedlings to become leggy and reach for the light until they were burned. Seedlings do this when the light is too far away or when they don't have enough light. They become long-legged and reach for their only source of food. As you bring the light

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
