DO NOT INSTALL WITH BARE HANDS

Very bright. No problems so far but people should remember to NEVER touch this type of lamp with bare hands. The oils from your fingers will burn off the intense heat, causing the lightbulb to burn out very quickly. When my lightbulb dies, I'll let you know how long it lasted.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not for everyone

2 packs - one broken!

These bulbs came in sealed packaging as shown in the picture but when I opened it one of the bulbs was cracked at the base. The one that wasn't there works well and is beautiful and shines brightly in my floor lamp. Too much hassle with returns but I'm disappointed I was only able to use one.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Pooh. didn't even last 2 months.

The first bulb burned out after less than two months of normal use. Forget the warranty - it will be more expensive to ship a broken bulb than to get a new pair of bulbs. I think that's why they want you to send them. OK. the last bulb is used - then it's on to another brand. I hope not sooner than in two months.

Pros
  • Decent performance

No Hum: Halogen Bulbs

I used to have a 300 watt bulb in the lamp and at lower heat (on the dimmer) it caused a hum. It's not, but maybe it's a little less bright OR maybe it's a different spectrum - I'm not sure which the original was. However, I would say that it works great. 3 stars for durability as I've only used it for a week or so. time will tell if it holds up.

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Some Flaws

Tends to wear out over time

2 pack. Good thing the second one dropped out after a day or two. Luckily I ordered another pair beforehand. Incidentally, the first bulb degraded very slowly (less and less light) over several years, so when it finally failed the replacement bulb was extremely bright (by comparison). Until, of course, she quickly collapsed.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Only available in white

nope Low quality. I won't do it again.

After many years of use, I was forced to buy new halogen bulbs for my floor lamp. Based on the product reviews I regret buying a set of these Phillips bulbs. The first bulb lasted about 5 months and the replacement (2nd bulb) took about 10 seconds. If they were working properly, they would be more than enough to light my studio. Unfortunately they were a waste of money, time and effort. I will no longer trust this brand of replacement bulbs. Decent quality halogen bulbs should last for many…

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Not bad

Vibrant, durable and affordable

This is my second order of these lamps. The first bulb in the first pair lasted a few years with moderate daily use, and the second bulb in this pack is currently in use. This pack is in case the current bulb burns out, but I suspect this will last at least a year or two (or more). The bulbs work exactly as intended and are a bargain at just over $3 each.

Pros
  • Philips recycles as much glass and packaging as possible to reduce your environmental impact.
Cons
  • A small change

Buyer Warning! The best of the bulbs

We ordered two packs. One lightbulb broke at the base - possibly during shipping. The other one didn't work, period. At first I thought the lamp might be broken, but when I tried it in a different socket, it didn't work either. We ended up using another lightbulb from a hardware store that worked. Judging by the reviews, some of these lamps are probably good, but chances are you'll get lucky, so be prepared to be disappointed!

Pros
  • Equipped with RSC socket. The flick of a switch instantly illuminates your rooms with full brightness; no slow start or waiting.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

ASK A STUPID QUESTION.

After cleaning the reflector and the housing lens, I installed a new bulb. It doesn't look as bright as previously installed 300-watt bulbs. I hope it's not my eyes that are failing. The final question when evaluating this item is durability. I mean are you serious? The lightbulb has just been replaced. Trust me, if they fail sooner than stated on the box, you'll get my answer. IT IS NOT PERMITTED TO CONTACT THE COMPANY DIRECTLY. THEY ARE TRYING TO DISAPPOINT YOU SO THAT YOU FINALLY ORDERED…

Pros
  • This 300W lamp produces powerful, bright white illumination ideal for portable work lights and outdoor security equipment.
Cons
  • Requires socket
