35 watts of brightness should be

You get what you pay for, Philips lamps are expensive, they are bright as the originals with my stove. Also fits perfectly in the hole. I bought two other brands in the first 6 economy packs for about $14. The light there was very dim, and a lightbulb burned out in a week. I returned the rest for a refund. Don't waste your time with cheap ones.

Pros
  • This 39 watt indoor flood lamp produces crisp white accent lighting around the house and indoor and outdoor lights
Cons
  • Good but not great

Glad to find her on Revain

Our hood uses two of these lamps. For some reason only Philips bulbs fit in there. I have tried other brands but have to use Philips. I couldn't find Philips and Lowes. Sometimes they're at the Home Depot. I was glad to find her on Revain.

Pros
  • . Has a GU10 base. The flick of a switch instantly illuminates your room with full brightness; no slow start or wait
Cons
  • Something else

Perfect for GE Range Hood

Perfect for our GE Range Hood. It has good brightness to match our existing lamp and has the energy efficiency of halogen. Installation was easy with two pins and a twist and the bulb is solid as I dropped it on the stove and it didn't break during installation :-)

Pros
  • This 39 watt indoor floodlight creates crisp white accent lighting throughout the home and in enclosed outdoor fixtures
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

These lights work but are useless.

They're getting so hot I can only think about how much energy I'm wasting on the heat rising in the fan. They are also not very impact resistant. My other complaint is the style of the light. These are fully directional lights and for some reason a previous homeowner installed them in the kitchen. These are really theatrical spotlights, which is why my kitchen has 3 zones of light with jet blacks in between. If you use them in a lamp, you heat up your ceiling and pay for it. If you're using…

Pros
  • We use as much glass and packaging as possible. Estimated Annual Energy Cost $4.22 (based on three hours per day)
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
