The last 14 days each in Bulbs

Passed two packs in exactly 1 month. Each bulb burned out exactly after 2 weeks of continuous use. I just ordered another box but installed it wearing latex gloves. I'll update the review if they last longer than two weeks this time.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • There are nuances

Perfect for my GE fridge with ice and water dispenser!

This is exactly the bulb I was looking for to replace the burned out one in my GE fridge with ice/water dispenser. Don't waste your time with LEDs as these pieces of junk will just flicker or burn out in a short time.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Empty

FURIOUS! for light bulbs

I have just received my light bulbs. JUST RECEIVED. I plugged in the first one and it went out immediately. Screwed in the second one and yes you guessed it .poof! In fact, not even a puff; they are both black. To be honest I haven't contacted support yet so we'll see how it goes. :-(

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No.

12 volt bulbs

Both work so far but it's only been 12 days. I use them for low voltage stairwell lighting, they are connected to a photocell so turn on at dusk and off at dawn for about 7-9 hours a day. I'll update this review when they burn out. Promise. Edit: 11/14/18 The first bulb burned out, 6 months is not bad.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Very expensive

Both bulbs flashed/exploded immediately when inserted and turned on.

Both lightbulbs exploded and burned out while installing them in the front water dispenser of my fridge. The donor says he can use a light bulb of up to 10 watts, that's 6 watts. He rushed so hard that he managed to burn the cable that led from the light button to the control panel. Thus, the light bulbs not only did not work fully, but also significantly aggravated the problem.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Bright, perfect for GE fridge ice dispenser

UPDATE MAY 2020: I downgraded my rating after the last pair of bulbs lasted about five weeks each, which is just ridiculous. At least the previous pair lasted 3-4 months each (which is still not very good). FIRST REVIEW: Over the last year we have tried different lightbulbs. Some just didn't work (LEDs). Others seemed more somber. It's been over a year since the lightbulb in the ice dispenser blew out so I'm not entirely sure, but this lightbulb actually seems brighter than anything we've had…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No car

Good bulbs 12V (not 120V) Check before you buy!

I bought these bulbs to replace the bulb in the in-door ice/water dispenser on my GE fridge. It's been five months and it's still working great. The price is a bit high but I'm glad I found them as 12 volt bulbs seem hard to come by - local hardware stores don't stock them (120 volt bulbs were easy to find). I noticed that there were some reviews where reviewers said the bulbs burned out right away. Those are 12V bulbs! Not 120V! They have the same base as 120V incandescent bulbs, but they will

Pros
  • High test scores for hold and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

I've read more than one review of it mentioning instant burnout. This is exactly what happens when they are built into most refrigerators to illuminate the ice and water dispenser. Most use a 120V bulb, much like a night light. They screw straight into the socket but pop out if they catch fire! They work great side by side in my GE, just what I needed and I got these 2 packs for less than the price of a single 'real' GE bulb. . They're still overpriced for what they are, but now I can see my…
