💡 Philips H6024C1 Sealed Beam Headlamp - Standard Halogen, 1 Pack Review

This is perfect for my high beam on my 1962 Dodge Lancer. When I turn it on it comes on. When I turn it off, it goes off. We have a great relationship with this light and with me.

Unlike the "Made in USA" item shown in the picture, the version supplied is made in China. Has been running for 10 minutes now with no problems. The price is reasonable.

This is a low cost halogen replacement bulb. I installed it on a 2002 Harley Davidson Fatboy. Harley-Davidson dealers want $45 to $55 for the same basic halogen bulb. I had to raise the headlight quite a bit. It has a slightly different beam angle for night vision.

No retinal burners like modern headlights but give enough light. Definitely better than the old, flimsy headlights I had on my '87 truck. I bought them "used" for half the price new. The lamps were obviously new. It was probably a return, still in the original packaging. Delivered for less than $15, I have new headlights. Great offer.

This headlamp is not as bright as the last 2-3 headlamps I've bought. I own a 2002 Jeep Wrangler, so unlike my friends with BMWs, I'm not in some sort of competition to see who can blind oncoming traffic from the farthest spot. However, I also thought that the yellowish, insufficient light from the headlights is something I only remember from the early 80's and wouldn't see again today.

Burnt out Jeep headlights. Found them and decided to just order two and replace both so the jeep doesn't have different brightness in each light. A month and a half later, a low beam burned out. As they have a lot of great reviews I assume I just received this rare lemon and will be ordering a new one rather than choosing a different brand. It feels like I'm forced to have both bulbs equally bright because I had to buy two bulbs from a different brand.

Ordered 3 and all arrived in good condition and tested to specification. These lamps are sealed beams, the front glass is bonded to a glass reflector, and inside is a tiny modern bulb that cannot be replaced. This design is good as the broken front glass doesn't kill the lamp instantly unlike the big ol' lamp it replaces. 4 stars because this product is made in China and I had to order it to find out.
