You get what you pay for

I am buying these bulbs for special lighting above my kitchen table. However, I change these lightbulbs constantly throughout the year. Can't complain as they aren't big bucks but definitely not something to rave about or buy for anyone else. I don't even use the light very often. I think it's just delicate pears.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

Not just for landscaping.

So these are the halogen bulbs we use in the hood over our stove. They produce light when switched on. It has 10W and we think its brightness is suitable for cooking. Our range hood has lighting settings so we can dim it when needed, although we usually leave it on the highest setting. Good price for two packs, cheaper per bulb than what I would have to pay at my local hardware store.

Pros

Cons

Burns through fairly quickly

I bought a house with these lamps. Lamps need to be changed frequently as their lifespan seems to be quite short. I'm considering replacing the lights with LEDs as the replacement in my kitchen involves lying on your back on the kitchen counter and crawling under the wall unit. I know it's not the fault of the bulb, it's the fault of the previous owner of the house. If they lasted longer I wouldn't complain.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

About every two years I need to replace some of the 12v T3 bulbs in my patio light. I usually buy lamps from Philips. But recently I've been trying to use cheaper Chinese T3 bulbs I found at Revain. They burned out after a few weeks, so I learned my lesson. I went back to Philips T3 lamps. Because of their longer lifespan, they're a better investment than "cheap" light bulbs. Resist the temptation to go cheap and buy the Philips brand instead.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Quality bulbs - Halogen bulbs

These bulbs were exactly as described and they are high quality bulbs and will last about a year. I have used Phillips bulbs since installing the system 14 years ago and have been happy with their durability. My light is on a timer for about 6 hours each night. Note that you must wear gloves or handle cloth or paper when installing halogen lamps, as oil from your skin can create hot spots on the glass, causing lamp failure. prematurely. I've tried cheaper bulbs several times over the years but…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I will write later
