Overpriced Euro model

This sync box is overpriced compared to what is listed on the Philips website and comes with an adapter to be used in conjunction with a European plug to connect it to North America to make compatible.

Expensive. Doesn't work with Smart TV Apps

The power adapter was missing. Luckily I used my existing power supply with the lights. It's expensive for what it offers and needs to be used with a device that uses HDMI. You can't use built-in streaming with a smart TV.

Item actually looks used/refurbished when opened This was not mentioned at the time of purchase Don't plan on using it; such an ugly beginning to enjoy. Also, there had to be a reason why it was being resold. Quality, guarantee, etc. BAD SELLER Please BEWARE

Terrible support experience

I received a box that keeps overheating. Struggled with Hue support for 5 weeks to get them to replace the device but they keep asking for the same info which takes a long time to move forward with the process - seems like they don't really want to next to this one product stand .

The product could not be switched on!

I really wanted to try this, but it didn't work. I watched several tutorials, read the instructions a thousand times, but it didn't turn on. I asked them for a refund or solution for this but they just told me they would give me my money back and take 15% of my money as a restocking fee. So they actually got $56 free from me.

Love Hate Device: Accessories and Consumables

I'm the biggest Hue fan in the world. There is no light in my house except Hue, I have motion sensors, light strips, switches - it works. Here's my dilemma, I love and hate Hue Sync at the same time. When it works, it's a great addition to my entertainment space. The effect of the lights syncing individually with the screen image is amazing and really adds to the immersion of my 7.2.4 sound system and full wall projection setup. When you turn on Atmos or DTS, it's amazing. Poorly. It won't…

It's great when it works! On my second device and so far so good. Highly recommended.

When it works, it's very cool. Especially with the Hue Sync Play light bar behind the TV. All the lights in the room are set up as an entertainment group. Hue Play's syncing app was very easy to use and setting up the lights was easy and intuitive. The app doesn't have many features, but in this case, simplicity is better and it gets the job done. I'm on my second set now because the first one failed and I hope it continues to work properly as it adds a new dimension to watching movies on TV…
