PHILIPS LP140WF1 SUBSTITUTE REPLACEMENT LP140WF1 SPB1 Review

The brightness is a bit lower than the original LG branded screen but more importantly when I installed it and turned it on there was a lot of discoloration in the top left third of the screen. It's so bad you can see it in this picture. Update: I cannot work under these conditions, I will try to get a new screen from this manufacturer. This is definitely NOT LG-Philips. If you want to buy exactly LF140WF1, I recommend not to buy this LCD. I was hoping there wasn't a defect, but it has over 5 bright pixels off-center, bottom right. And it's true, it works well with FHD resolution. I upgraded from 1366x763 to 1920x1080 and have an HP 840 G2 laptop. All models use the same eDP 1.3 cable.
