Not much control from proprietary device as advertised

We quite like this device. We use Marpac Dohm and have tried several monitors to find one where we can still hear the little white noise in the background and this one is halfway there. I ordered it mainly because it means you can turn the music and lights on and off from the parent unit. I even checked the instructions, but the block we received doesn't have such functionality. Otherwise it works fine. We have a security camera for the images and we needed a sound monitor that didn't mute our…

Wide Range and Features

This monitor works great. I would like Philips to put rechargeable batteries in the baby base, but the batteries in the upper part of the system work great. Long lifespan, works all day long. The parent unit has a charging station so it can be easily docked instead of having to search for a charging cable in a dark room. It has a sensitivity setting for the baby-side system, so the monitor doesn't translate every hiccup or hand movement across the sheet. You can set it as low or as high as your

A very nice monitor in Audio Monitors

UPDATE: Figured out how to change lullabies of different songs. You must use the parent monitor. I've never owned a baby monitor, but I chose this one because of the good reviews. The receiver is very sensitive, but you can change the sensitivity on the parent monitor, as well as the volume. I can literally hear every noise in the bedroom from the monitor, even my daughter moving in bed and her little grunts. The only thing I was impartial about is that the lullaby option should be able to…

Very good performance, decent wireless range

Many monitors are either too sensitive or not sensitive enough or adjust poorly. This one works really well and has never let us down. The lullaby function is also very practical and does not irritate the baby. We didn't really get to test the battery life as the charger only stays off for an hour, but everything else about it works fine. For an audio monitor, this is everything we wanted at a relatively reasonable price. Update: Our baby unit no longer sends sound to the parent unit. Just like

Works well with minor flaws, expensive for what it does

Pros: -- I set it to the lowest sensitivity so I don't get woken up when the baby just makes normal noises. I also include Cry Alert with a vibrate feature. When the baby cries, the device will make a crying sound, vibrate and light up. All three together are enough to wake us up and see what's going on. This is the biggest feature of the device and it does the job well. Please note that the light does not bother me while sleeping. Although we won't place it far away, it should go through some…
