This monitor works great. I would like Philips to put rechargeable batteries in the baby base, but the batteries in the upper part of the system work great. Long lifespan, works all day long. Many monitors are either too sensitive or not sensitive enough or adjust poorly. This one works really well and has never let us down. The lullaby function is also very practical and does not irritate the baby. We didn't really get to test the battery life as the charger only stays off for an hour, but everything else about it works fine. Pros: -- I set it to the lowest sensitivity so I don't get woken up when the baby just makes normal noises. I also include Cry Alert with a vibrate feature.
