First of all, this is not intended for deforestation in the Congo. It's more of a tool. Also note that this will not make you razor sharp. But I only cut myself with it once. Item arrived used and covered in fingerprints

UPDATE: I've ordered several of these over the years but this last one from Revain arrived second hand. Covered with dirt and fingerprints. ROUGH! This thing is awesome, but mostly disposable. Unfortunately I have now bought four of them because the internal battery no longer holds a charge after about 6 months of use. The battery cannot be replaced or serviced without great effort. They don't make a wired version so just keep buying them. It works fantastic. while it works.

Works perfectly. Batteries dead after 4 1/2 years, bought a second one!

This is my second purchase. This works very well. The only downside is that the batteries do wear out over time (my first battery lasted about 4.5 years before the batteries eventually stopped charging. These are uniquely sized batteries that are not (easily) user serviceable It was easier to buy a second one than trying to replace batteries.And over the last year or two I've only had about 5 minutes of run time before it dies.It would be great if they could make it, a basic AA -Accepting…

Short battery life / easy to dull blades.

Bought only based on all the good reviews but after occasional use the battery dies and the blades become dull. Also, when in use, the on/off switch is positioned so that if I move my hand while using the device, it will turn off the device. It would be much more convenient to use it both from the battery and from the socket. Now I have to buy a hair clipper and send it to Goodwill.
