Great for my use case. The only problem I had was hanging it on the wall. The hole is a bit small and I didn't have any screws with a head small enough to fit the hole. Not a big deal, just note that the mounting holes are smaller than any other band I've used if you want to mount it.

I had to add an extension to my kitchen wall to keep it looking its best. That fits the bill. It is very elegant and attractive. Cons: Only 2 holes for mounting screws on the back, so it's not very stable on the wall - it wobbles a bit - but that's not a big deal compared to its looks.

Warranty does NOT cover storm emissions. As stated in the guarantee text. This device is not a lightning arrester and therefore will not provide lightning protection near a power line, house, utility entrance, or antenna. The warranty does not apply if power disturbances damage your devices over coax, telephone or network lines.

The cable is thick and strong. Great price for an established brand. I could buy another brand for a few dollars less. but I didn't want to save money and do this because I wanted to put expensive electronics in this power cord and didn't want to use a cheap cord that would short out my stuff and now I don't have thousands of dollars. We got this because our cat gnaws on the power cords, especially the thick rubber on most extension cords. The braided nylon sleeve on it prevents it from sinking its teeth into it, so baby doesn't risk electrocution! He's pulled it out of the wall a few times anyway, but so far the cord is intact and he seems to have lost interest in it. The flat plug is designed in such a way that it does not allow the use of bulky cables that need to be plugged into the socket at the same time (eg. a hair dryer or something with a cord hanging down). So you have to pull the strip out to use the hair dryer as the surge protector can't safely handle the amount of current the hair dryer requires (found this out the hard way after being quickly dissuaded by the burning smell of the surge protector this practice).
