Headlight bulbs value for money

Super bright light. Easily installed in seconds. Bought to replace the stock high beam headlights on my Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. The headlights work great in low beam but lacked high beam until I got them. This made them very clear and bright. I am very happy with my purchase. worth your money.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

Bright and Light Best Headlight Bulbs

Easy installation on 2014 Honda Accord. Ideal as a replacement for high beam, which also serves as a parking light and therefore burns out relatively quickly. Definitely brighter than the OEM bulb. Don't go wrong with the price. Mine took 3-4 years of average driving before one burned out. I always change both when one burns out to reduce the chance of the second bulb blowing out prematurely.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • No power

No brighter than regular old incandescent bulbs.

These bulbs are designed to be 100% brighter. I bought them because I hate the yellowish light most halogens give off. Well I didn't get either. I installed one side and then turned on the lights for comparison. The X-treme Vision bulbs are no brighter or whiter than the regular old bulbs I've had in the past. Installed the other side and off we went. I see no difference to my old lamps. waste of money.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Fair

Not what I expected.

The packaging says 100% sight, what I received was 100% the same as my factory lamp. I replaced a lightbulb and couldn't tell my factory lightbulb from this "brighter" lightbulb. So for me it was a waste of money. The pattern of the beam and the color of the light were no different. I had to pay extra and buy another brand that actually gives a whiter and brighter light. (This was my observation in my truck, yours might be great if you have old warning lights)

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Disappearing

Not as bright as expected

I installed a set of LED lights on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. When the daytime running lights are on, they flash. It was very annoying to other vehicles and just didn't look right. I have changed the headlights to a standard bulb and I am not satisfied with the light intensity. With LED lights, it was clear and white. These pears have a duller appearance. Street signs and reflectors don't shine as brightly as they used to. I will probably go back to the LED light bulb.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Hard to tell

BUYERS ATTENTION: THIS IS LIKE A VERY BRIGHT HIGH LIGHT AT ANY TIME!

Very bright and durable so far (bought about a year ago), the only problem is that it blinds EVERYONE on the street because they have no paint or material on the tips to catch the rays to focus forward and down, so it's like driving with the headlights on. unless they are brighter than your bright ones! I have incoming traffic shining at me from left and right because they think I'm doing it to them.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Concise instructions

WORST RELIABILITY 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

2013 Toyota Corolla LE, installation was easy enough and the brightness wasn't surprising, basically just a color temperature much lower than most halogen bulbs , but still not as white as the LED. I am totally disappointed with the reliability, purchase 10/2020 and somehow both failed! The photos show that the filament in both lamps separated at the same time. I don't recommend taking them, not worth the money. I am very disappointed in Phillips and the quality of these lamps.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Good but not great

Don't be fooled by the "X-tremeVision " hype!

I bought high and low beam bulbs for my 2016 Honda Pilot in hopes of improving the street lighting. I researched Sylvania, GE and Philips lamps. I even considered going to LCD but settled on halogens as they were available in the car. I ended up replacing the standard Sylvania Long Life bulbs with Philips X-tremeVision (they claim up to 100% more vision). ZERO% improvement - look at the photos and decide for yourself. These X-tremeVision bulbs are 2-3 times more expensive than the original…

Pros
  • Nice package
Cons
  • Can't remember

Better than LEDs - that's why (Corolla 2011)

First I bought powerful replacement LEDs. I hoped they would bring the benefits of LEDs in lower power consumption, longer life and brighter performance. I put them in and oh they looked brilliant! But. When it got dark it was a different story. To get brightness, there are many places on the bulb for sources. The reflector seems to be designed for a point source, which is the format of the 9005 incandescent lamp. The reflectors spread the light from the LEDs in the wrong direction and…
